About these terms

This website, vaasarahouse.in, is run by Vaasara ("we", "us"), a scent design business based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. By using it you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.

This website is information, not an offer

The website describes our services so you can decide whether to contact us. Nothing on it is a binding offer, and sending an enquiry does not create a booking. A booking exists only once we have both accepted a written quotation or agreement. That document sets out the scope, price, schedule, payment terms and cancellation terms, and it takes priority over anything on this website.

Prices

• Prices on the website are indicative "from" prices in Indian rupees. Your actual price depends on the venue, guest numbers, zones, dates and travel, and is confirmed in writing once we have the details of your event or venue.
• GST is charged on top of the prices shown, at the rate in force on the invoice date (currently 18%). Your quotation shows the full amount payable, including tax, before you commit.
• Venue subscriptions run for the 12 or 24 month term stated in your agreement. Any discount for a longer term is shown in that agreement.

The Discovery Box

The Discovery Box is a paid service. We confirm its price and delivery charges before we send it, and payment is due before dispatch. Where we agree in writing, the amount may be adjusted against a confirmed booking. The samples on blotters are for smelling only: do not apply them to skin, swallow them, or leave them within reach of children or pets. If a box arrives damaged, send us a photo and we will put it right.

Performance promise and refunds

If a scented zone at your event fails to perform as agreed, for example a diffuser stops working and our backup cannot restore it, the fee for that zone is refunded in full. Please tell our on-site team during the event, or us within 48 hours of it, so we can check and fix it. Cancellations and other refunds follow the terms in your quotation or agreement.

Scent, allergies and sensitivities

Fragrance materials can affect people with allergies, asthma or chemical sensitivities. Tell us about any known sensitivities among your guests or staff before your event, and we will suggest gentler accords, lower intensity, or unscented zones. Allergen information for each accord is available on request. Our diffusers are installed and operated by our team; please do not move, refill or adjust them yourself.

The Scent Builder and visuals

The Scent Builder and the colours on this website help you describe what you want. The layer shares it shows are a typical starting balance, not a formula, and nothing on the site is a guarantee of how a finished accord will smell. Every accord is refined with you before your event.

Our content

The text, visuals, accord names, stories and design of this website belong to Vaasara. You are welcome to share links to it, but please do not copy or reuse its content commercially without our written permission. Custom accords created for you are covered by your agreement.

Responsibility

We take care to keep this website accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be error-free or online. We are not responsible for losses caused by relying on the website alone instead of your written quotation. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a problem arises, please contact us first at info@vaasarahouse.in or +91 73058 25365. We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If we cannot resolve it, the courts at Chennai have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Bookings already confirmed stay under the terms that applied when you confirmed them.
